Liquorice sticks! . . . . not to be confused with Bassett's Liquorice Allsorts or Haribo Pontefract Cakes!. These are hard (inedible) flavourings for Stouts, Porters and Dark Ales with a strong flavour. Go easily at first, experiment at a cautious inch or two at a time! as usual, keep quantity and tasting notes for future reference.
