I always thought that all ale was sparkl-y but this Sparkl-ing Ale is based on a tonic made in 1862 by Thomas Cooper for his first wife (must have been a powerful tonic! I wonder how his latter wife or wives fared) Thomas Coopers Sparkling Ale is unlike yer average sparkl-y brew in as much that it can be “supped and savoured by discerning lads” say Coopers, to be enjoyed at a slower pace than other beers, try quaffing this at speed and you might blow your slippers off! . . . . so be a cool cat, enjoy this sparkling tonic at a gentle pace and muse at the rest of the world rushing past. mmmeeeoooowww! . . .
