Tony's Tips

You wouldn't believe there is so much in it. If you like a glass . . . . or Flagon of Scrumpy, Bounder's, Cornish Rattler, Jack Ratt, Ashton Press, Wilkin's Somerset Cider, Black Rock Homebrew Cider, etc. you will get a lot out of this little book, Michael Pooley and John Lomax tell it as it is, as experienced Cider Makers, unpretentious and informative . . . . As I found with the "Homebrew Self Sufficiency" book by John Parkes, about making your own real Ale, "Real Cidermaking - on a small scale" may ignite your dreams of being the well respected local provider of the best hand crafted Cider in your village, even if you live in Beer, Stoughton, Aylesbury or Lagerford! . . . . (I may have made that last one up!)
