Crushed Black Malt - Used to add colour (Blackness!) to your Whole Grain or Partial Mash Dark Beer or Stout. The Resulting additional grain texture will impart "silky smoothness" to the finish . . . . the title "Black Velvet" comes to mind, another good name for your Homebrewed Stouts or Dark Ales, although it is also the name of a Guinness with Champagne cocktail drink designed to blow yer head off, hard to be original these days so just call it "BV" and keep them guessing what the title means!
